Where can I park near Melksham Assembly Hall?

The closest parking is in King Street car park. This is a pay and display car park from 08:00-18:00. During this time the rates are as follows:

After 18:00 all spaces are free.

Is there a bar?
Melksham Assembly Hall has a fully stocked bar open at all shows and live events. The bar is also available for private hire events. We run a strict challenge 25 policy when it comes to asking for ID for the sale of alcohol and it is prohibited to bring your own alcohol into the venue without prior permission (with regards to corkage for an event).

Melksham Assembly Hall is available for hire for your function. The Hall is perfect for all kinds of events and functions, a few examples being:

How can I buy tickets for shows at Melksham Assembly Hall?
Tickets for Assembly Hall events are sold through Ticketsource. Tickets can be purchased from the office in the Town Hall, or by card over the phone on 01225 704187. Otherwise you can book your tickets online directly through Ticketsource, by clicking here.

How do I get my tickets?
Tickets bought from the office will be printed and given to you at the time of booking. Tickets bought over the phone can be collected from Melksham Assembly Hall or posted to you for an extra £1.00.
Tickets bought directly through Ticketsource can be printed or you can pay extra for them to be sent out to you by post (booking online does incur an additional booking fee).

Can I get carer tickets for shows at Melksham Assembly Hall?
If a carer is accompanying a disabled person (who has a ticket purchased), they will be issued a free of charge ticket. We have specific places in the auditorium that we reserve for disabled and carer seats. Speak to a member of staff in the office in person or on 01225 704187 for more details.
I lost my tickets. What can I do?
When you book a ticket with us your ticket is saved on the system. If you lose your tickets get in touch with us and we will try to resolve the issue with you.

Can I return tickets?
Tickets can only be accepted for return in exceptional circumstances. Please call our office on 01225 704187 to discuss any issues.
Tickets will also be accepted for return for a sold-out show that has guests on a waiting list. Please contact the office for details.
Outside of the above reasons we unfortunately cannot accept ticket returns.

Ticket Terms and Conditions
No refunds or exchanges.
The Management reserves the right to:

Refuse admission to the ticket holder to the premises.

Refuse admission to latecomers unless there is an interval in the performance/event.

Cancel or abandon the performance/event for reasons beyond its control without notice and without being liable to pay any person compensation or damage whatsoever other than, at the Management’s discretion, a possible percentage or maximum refund to the ticket holder of the value of the ticket.

Prohibit use on the premises of any camera or any form of audio or visual recording equipment, and refuse admission to anyone using such equipment.

Is there disabled access?
We have very good disabled access. The entire building is on ground level so there is no problem moving wheelchairs in or out of the venue. This is the same for the auditorium and the outside access. There is also a large disabled toilet in the foyer.
